Downloads and other Grant Application Resources
BCF’s grant application process is quite thorough. Our process has two aims: to provide access to funding for groups and causes striving to improve life in Bermuda; and also to develop a good database of nonprofit and civic work that can attract philanthropic investment. Grantseekers will find that the first time through the process may be challenging but future processes will build on that initial work.
We believe it is helpful for grantseekers to gather the following information in anticipation of submitting a grant:
- Nonprofit or company registration #’s
- Documentation on your organisational or programme activities, goals and intended outcomes
- Programme strategy
- Financials and budgets
- Lists of Board members, paid staff, key volunteers and their credentials
- Board of Directors (including their position on Board and frequency of meetings; committee members
Grant Application Budget Submissions
All grantseekers are required to submit a current operating budget for general operating support applications and both an operating budget and a project budget for a specific programme. Grantseekers can use their own budget formats for the purposes of BCF's grant applications. If your organisation does not have a budget format, you are welcome to use the templates below. The templates for both budgets are the same.
For the time being, grantseekers will need to download the budget templates, complete them and then upload them as attachments to your grant application.
